Responsibilities:

• Project lead for mid-range technical team consisting of UNIX/Windows SME’s, architects supporting L’Oreal, Chrysler, and NiSource-CPG, Confidential, Confidential, Confidential -Ace accounts.

• NiSource-CPG hardware consisted of Confidential 0 (7 Managed nodes), Confidential P-Series (7 managed systems), Confidential x440 PureFlex, 250+ Confidential x3560/x3650 physicals. Part of Data Center relocation in Columbus, OH and Charleston, WV.
• Regularly met with customer stake-holders and PMO in defining migration efforts. Participated in discussions related to all technical issues as well as overall project planning.

• Introduced VIO server/client platforms utilizing P570/P595 (pSeries). Skills include; VIOS-SAN and ETH (primary/secondary) for VIOC’s. Fixed build layouts and IOS v1.5 builds. VIOS Storage and VIOS Ethernet configuration. Primary/Secondary VIOS.
• Led VIOC (Virtual Client) lpars builds for teams in LEX and STL. Participated in training staff on skill-sets required to support lpars in virtual environment. Profile configuration included; micro-partitioning processor configurations, memory allocations, virtual SCSI allocations, virtual Ethernet connectivity. Built over 1000 VIOC’s. Specialized in HACMP clusters in VIOC environment.
• BOS loads were completed using NIM. OS configuration included, TCP/IP connectivity, NTP, DNS, TSM, mksysb, Shared SAN for HACMP, Confidential Tools (SRM, VSA, Tivoli DM/ITM), fixes. Transitioned base builds to customer.
• Build lead for Disaster Recovery servers. Included 116 VIOS (Storage/Ethernet) using PPRC for recovery. Participated in 4 DR exercises.
• Led server migration efforts on Confidential account in migrating RS/6000 solutions from SP2 nodes/standalone servers to Regatta (p5 series) LPARs running AIX v5.x and HACMP 5.x.
• Installation activities included: physical site review, network/cabling requirements, coordinate equipment install with CE, LPAR planning/mapping, LPAR creation, NIM BOS installs using spot copy, OS build, LVM activities included, VG creation w/Shark disk, LV/FS creation using HACMP C-SPOC(if required). Worked with project team on system migrations alongside DBA’s and application support. Upon completion provided detailed LPAR/HACMP/System documentation available in team room.
• Administration activities included: support of clustered AIX servers running HACMP, LVM support included; VG/LV/FS activities as needed, performance monitoring using nmon/SRM. 7x24 account support w/on-call activities. Two (2) annual Disaster Recovery exercises at SunGard hot sites recovering servers/applications.
• Participated in RFS process identifying IT solutions supporting business. Coordinated solutioning activities with Confidential Techline and Project Office. Provided solution quotes to project office. Ultimately coordinating projects; plan, install, migrate servers and applications to best serve business IT requirements.
• Responsible for CIRATS and GSD331 security compliance for quarterly health check scans for all AIX servers. Participated in annual Sarbanes Oxley audit.
• Project lead for Confidential tools implementation on Confidential account 160 ( Confidential /SUN/HP) servers. Tools include ESM, SRM, VSA, Tivoli DM/ITM, CIRATS compliance.
