- Managed the Release and Deployment of the Modernized e-File (MeF) system for the IRS on the Infrastructure Shared Services contract. My efforts resulted in the availability of the system of record for electronic filing of all Individual and Business Tax returns for the United States.
- Interfaced with the IRS/IBM/Accenture/others to coordinate activities related to the release and deployment of all infrastructure artifacts of the MeF into Production, ATS, and the Alternate production environments.

- As the Release Manager, I was responsible for providing integration oversight, lead PMO portfolio management, creation of the release architecture in accordance with the Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) framework, mapping of requirements to Configuration Item List (CIL), Test Cases, and Requirement Matrix; manage cross project dependencies to create a program level release from requirements engineering, development, testing, through deployment;

- As the release manager working with the FY2002 projects, and IT&D team, the PRIME successfully modernized the IRS infrastructure from installing mainframe z900 machines, to creating Registered and Employee User Portals, to deploying an internet-based application for taxpayers to verify Refund status via the Internet. Infrastructure included mainframes, Unix and NT servers, firewalls, switches, telecommunication equipment, voice recognition devices, etc. Supported the testing of a Customer Account Data Engine that now hosts all individual and business tax payers data, as well as an electronic services delivery to support IRS trading partners management including application, registration, CRM, TIN matching, transcript delivery, and secure mailing;
- Constituted the Defect Review Board (DRB) and ran the daily meetings for all testing phases (during RSIT, DSRT, and ST&E for STIR 1.1, ESM, and IRFOF) and conducted the combined PSIT DRB meetings for e-services 1.1 and STIR 1.2. Functioned as the program DR coordinator as well as approve Endevor packages for transmittal to the IRS test environment and/or production. Coordinated the staging of the builds as well as installation of staged components in either EITE or production. The Test Managers for all projects (10) were matrixed to me (as the Release Manager); My efforts were instrumental to the success of the program.

Bell Atlantic in trying to get into the long distance market was required by the FCC to open up its local market to competition. Hired as a Consultant to create a Strategic Architecture District responsible for carrying out the software and system Architecture practice that will enable Bell Atlantic to support interoperability and interface with CLECs (Competitive Local Exchange Carriers).
