Responsibilities:

  • Engaged as a member of the Security Team reporting directly to the CISO.
  • Place into production in 8 months a compliance initiative which was 4 years behind schedule and had failed during numerous previous attempts. EMC's (SEC 17a - 4 governance) Source One, is a top tier (email) Exchange, information security and compliance system. Working with Compliance, infrastructure & QA personnel as well as EMC engineers, addressed and resolved technical challenges (both internal and vendor related) as they arose. Directed QA Team efforts to develop a comprehensive test plan and test cases to ensure the integrity and success of the newly installed application.
  • Directed an initiative that was 1 ½ years behind schedule and made it operational in three months. Directed a FINRA mandated PCI, security initiative to encrypt all remote Agents' and Agency Office computers.   • Customer facing PM for post-sales vendor support to clients of Mortgage backed securities, Financial Securitization software.
  • Placed into production in less than one year a mortgage backed securities initiative that was two years behind schedule and which the client CIO was “ready to pull the plug on”. .
  • Managed initiative to implement this software solution for a major Canadian bank. In depth scrutiny of the challenges being encountered revealed that there were gaps in the requirements.
