Process Definition
Problem Management: Took leadership in establishing Problem management workflow and introduced team to HP quality center (Test Director) tool. As project manager worked closely with the QA team to configure list values and other settings within quality center that applies to the team. Developed and distributed standards and quick reference guides on best practices to be adopted when recording issues within the tool.
Incident Response Workflow (Risk Management): Designed the incident response workflow for FedEx Office operating company. This process was intended to evaluate certain pre defined incidents as potential risk that can have a negative impact to the FedEx brand. Worked closely with Tech Support group to establish the process and lay down steps for the agents attending such calls from the field. Detailed workflows were defined within salesforce on how to handle calls when an incident of such nature is reported.

Data Encryption: Planned, managed and implemented Credit Card encryption project with sixteen team members belonging to four different application teams. The encryption of the clear text data was done using RSA Encryption/Key management suite and Java. The project was an effort to ensure PCI compliance and reduce credit card footprint from internal financial and transactional data distributed between applications.
EDI Implementation Project: This project implemented EDI 850, 824 and 810 Inbound and Outbound with Vendors and Customers. Manage establishing of Trading Partner Agreements (TPA). Managed development of java JMS modules for transmission of EDI files in the form of XML with Vendors (850,810 Inbound) and Customers (810 Outbound).
Infrastructure Projects:
Retail field server security compliance: Planned, managed and executed project to upgrade all FedEx Office field servers nationwide to ensure security compliance and maintenance requirement. Worked closely with field technology teams to schedule and apply patches to almost two thousand servers located in FedEx Office stores all over the country.
Retail network conversion to Sprint MPLS framework: Upgrade network equipments at all FedEx Office Stores. Scheduled and monitored cut over of FedEx Office stores from Sprint link frame relay (SLFR) to Sprint MPLS framework. Worked with multiple vendors to ensure hardware and cabling requirements are fulfilled in a timely manner. Track issues reported by field technology teams to resolution with the help of Vendors and local exchange carriers (LEC), Escalated issues were resolved by organizing Vendor meet at the location in question.
MS Unified Messaging (UM) Implementation: Planned, managed and executed the upgrade of old Octel PBX system to Nortel CS1000. Setup UM and MWI servers. As part of the project, I supervised the conversion of over three thousand corporate employees to the new phone system, provided training and user guides to help users setup their voicemails and new UM features. Created call plan to be programmed within UM. Worked with multiple Vendors to track deliverables and ensure they meet expectations and timeline.
