Phase 2 was also completed a head of schedule and under budget. Production (PRD) was deployed to the fully operational RAC PRD environment. Standard Operating Procedures were formally defined to provide optimized, repeatable and reliable PRD support coverage.
  • The Home Office Telephone System Refresh was also a multi phase project and all phases were completed on schedule and below budget. The first phase of this project was a software and hardware upgrade to the NEC 2400 Telephone System. The upgrades supported Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)/Internet Protocol (IP) telephone sets. The second phase was the replacement of the current telephones to IP telephones used as the network connection for each employee's personal computer instead of running an extra network cable to each desk. The third phase increased the VM (voice mail) numbers and internal extension numbers from 4 digits to 5 digits. All Gordon Food Service VM numbers and internal extension numbers in the United States were affected by the change and over 70,000 new numbers were added.
