Performance Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

Interact with the project architects/business analysts to identify the key business flows or message flows to include in workload modelling.
Determine the workload rates from analysis of historical usage logs or from interviewing domain experts.
Help establish consensus on response time requirements.
Assess the differences between the performance test and production environments, and use this to influence the performance test design.
Responsible for providing the estimates for the performance testing activity to be carried out for the project. Considered and suggested risk, assumptions, issues & dependencies which could affect the timelines of the project.
Responsible for creating test plan for carrying out the complete performance testing and analysis activity in successfully driving the project to completion.
