Responsibilities:
- Created automation framework for QTP and used VBScript heavily for writing the automation test scripts for back office trading systems, reporting and front office applications.
- As a QA Lead was responsible for overseeing the automation testing effort both onsite and offsite teams.
- Created Proof of Concept in the early phase to see if that project was a good piece to be automatable.
- Performed Functional, Regression testing and worked mostly in the Expert view.

TXpress is a real-time back office processing applicationfurnishing BROKERTEC with STP abilities, serving as a platform for real-time information sharing. It is a back office system processing fixed income trades (US Treasuries, agencies, Repos) clearing and settling.
2) Trade Capture and Trade Tracker
Trade capture is a C/S application dealing with cash products, Capital markets, Credit, Equity and Commodity Derivatives. After processing trades are sent to Trade Tracker/Queue Manager.
3) GUIBOS
GUIBOS is a back office, billing system dealing with Deal Capture, Confirmation, Invoicing, Reporting and Archive. Several external systems feed deals into GUIBOS for confirming and billing.
4) RIMS
Static reference data and historical trade information from “Allison” system for ICAP Securities and ICAP Corporate business, and the “TXpress” system for the IEB electronic brokerage will be uploaded into the RIMS system.
5) ETC and JETS
ETC is a front end application for First brokers, ETC Energy and ETC corporate. It feeds trades to JETS database.
6) Broker Tec
Broker Tec is the front-end application developed in Java, for brokers. OIW, OMW, BOOK are major components. This is the largest revenue maker on the electronic world.
7) MIS
MIS is a web based reporting system for ICAP securities and provides statistical information, customer enquiries and various monthly, term end reports which aids in analyzing the performance of the desks, brokers and in turn of the company.
8) VSD
Voice Standing Data is an application used to enter new requests and the approval hierarchy by various levels in the firm including manager, legal, compliance and standing data.
