  • Coded enhancements to legacy InRhodes IV-A and IV-D software systems using the Natural programming in both ADABAS batch and online environment; maintained JCL for production batch jobs. Maintained SNAP and TANF features in legacy InRhodes system.
  • Developed software for interfaces between a variety of State of Rhode Island Health and Welfare systems (Title IV-A eligibility, Title IV-D child support enforcement). Converted ADABAS files and data from legacy InRhodes to new Child Support Enforcement system.

Responsibilities:

  • Senior Programmer Analyst responsible for the following within Fidelity’s brokerage business unit National Financial Correspondent Services.
  • Coded Confidential batch modules to converted customer name/address, equity positions and balances files for incoming broker/dealer firms who are now using Fidelity as their trading platform.
  • Rewrote the daily trade confirm format process combining three processing streams into one. Worked with forms vendor to create new form stock and coordinated testing and roll out to all correspondents for their on-site printing using Confidential transaction (BPRT).
  • Developed online Confidential transaction ( Confidential ) that lets brokers print a notice of maturing fixed instruments. Wrote the underlying data capture process to select items.
  • Coded Confidential /DB2 screen (MDIS) that allows brokers to set mutual fund distribution options - the payout method - at the customer position level for both dividends and capital gains. These instructions are used internally and passed to the fund companies.
  • Y2K: Validated and certified order review mainframe programs assigned to me and earned department recognition.
  • Developed Profit & Loss batch reports for Inventory Account trading using various DB2 tables. Application allows reps to monitor their riskless trading activity.
  • Inventory Reporting: modified screen navigation of Confidential transaction (IPOS) which allows brokers to view their daily, house-account trading activity.
  • Confidential: Modified Confidential transaction (BREV) that allows reps to review orders held based on rules established on Visual Basic front-end.
