- Hewlett Packard Subject matter expert installs, configures and supports HP System Insight Manager. This system uses management agents which are installed on the server. The agents communicate with SIM on any type of hardware failure, errors, warnings and informational events such as cluster failovers for SQL. Configured Remote Support phone home so that the SIM system will automatically cut a request to HP to order the part that failed if the server is under warranty. This avoids catastrophic failure and downtime of losing multiple drives in a RAID set and or multiple power supplies.
- Helped the server team with time management to meet SLAs by automating via Powershell repetitive tasks that would log tickets. This would include but not limited to: percentage free on system partition, registry backup failures due to corrupt registry hives and VSS writers.
