Today, 95 percent of Fortune 500 companies are Nextel customers.
Sprint is leading fixed line service Provider Company in the US, The Company that gave America pin-drop clarity also became a global leader in voice and data services. Then a new kind of Telecom Company emerged in 1993, when Sprint and Nextel merged to become a unique provider of local, wireless and long distance services
Sprint Nextel announced merger in December, 2005 so they in process of merging their customer database. Nextel was using ensemble billing application, and sprint was maintaining converges billing application. They decided to go with ensemble billing application and both the customer database will get merged to ensemble billing application.
This project was to test merged billing application (Ensemble) with both Sprint and Nextel customer databases. This was one of the biggest telecom merger ever happened in Telecom industry, and hence involved a great amount of testing expertise.

Responsibilities:
Studying the Impact Assessment (IA) documents.
Attending the IA walkthrough sessions with business and development teams.
Creating the Test Requirement (High Level Scenario) for different impacted modules based on the IA document from business.
Creating the Test Cases corresponding to the TRs.
Presenting the Test Cases to the business in TC review sessions for their sign-off on test cases.

Functional
The QuarkDDS server is a specialized application server used to provide access to QuarkXPress content and a subset of the QuarkXPress feature set in a server environment. The document and graphics capabilities of the QuarkDDS Server are based on the QuarkXPress layout and graphics engine.

QDM acts as a manager when there are multiple DDS exist in the DDS Farm. It chooses the DDS from DDS farm based on the platform for which request is generated.
