Description:
Load and unload materials in warehouses and storage facilities. Receive materials into an organization and verify materials against invoices to ensure the accuracy of the delivery. Count or weigh parts to check quantity accuracy. Contact the vendor when shipment is inaccurate to rectify the discrepancy. Pick parts for shipment and package according to shipping procedures. Duties:
- Receives and verifies accuracy of incoming shipments.
- Sorts and places materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, or product code. Marks materials with identifying information.
- Pulls and distributes materials or other stock items in order to fill STAGING requests.

- Appreciate deadlines inherent to the industry. Because of the seasonality of the business, timeliness is essential. Merchandise is either on time or the deadline is missed; there is no concept of lateness. Deadlines must be met.
Be mindful of shipping schedules both of inbound and outbound shipments. Set audit priorities to meet these shipping deadlines.
