Description: The purpose of the overall EDE project is to develop and deploy an enterprise-wide credit decision solution that enables the business to test and implement credit strategies. These will be deployed in the form of rules. Beneficial enterprise application integration (EAI) layer provides transport for extensible Markup Language (XML) messages between third party vendors Optis and Zoot. Zoot hosts the enterprise decision engine (EDE). These messages are based on a common XML Schema Definition (XSD) which provides validation of the message format and to some extent the content. EDE stores details of each loan request and response for later trend analysis, fraud detection, and fine-tuning of rules.
The scenarios tested in EDE project were:

Error Handling Validations
Database validations (Operational vs. snapshot db validations and mapping)
Website functionalities like Print, Search, Re-Decision, Navigation Flows, Decision Summary, Application Locking, and Editable Fields
