The New Account Wizard (NAW) application consolidates and centralizes the process of creating and maintaining investment accounts for equities. It provides real time account opening capability using message based integration with the back office system of record. It supports dynamic rendering of UI based on the type of account being created and incorporates edit checks to eliminate errors during the account opening process.

Role

  • Interacted with the Business Analyst for detailed understanding of Business requirements while writing the Test Cases.
  • The project followed Agile methodology with iterative release cycles.
  • Extensively used Quality Center for Test Case management.
  • Executed Manual Test Cases and verified actual results with expected results. JIRA was used for defect tracking.
  • Identified test conditions from functional specifications and product requirements and wrote test cases to cover those functional requirements.
