From Crete to the United States: What Creta Farms Must Do To Sell Its Products Internationally
- Describes the actions the Greek company Creta Farms must take such as abiding by regulations set forth by the European Union and the Food and Drug Administration of the United States. The objective was to decide whether or not it was right for Creta Farms to go through the process of getting its food products approved by the Food and Drug Administration.
- Concluded that the process was a smart business decision despite the challenges because its business model of replacing animal fats in meat with olive oil would be profitable in a diet conscious society. In fact, the profits Creta Farms made in the United States outweighed the amount of money it cost to obtain approval by the Food and Drug Administration.
