This site has been integrated with their all third-party alliance to serve in single point. This is the main repository for all real time backend systems, this repository being loaded with real time data as flat files by using the data transformation and loaded into Oracle database.

The People\'s Association (PA) of Singapore set up the Social Development Service SDS) on 12th November 1985 to create opportunities for non-university graduate singles to meet and pair off. Membership is open to all non-university graduate singles between 20 and 40 years old who are Singaporeans or Permanent Residents.

Modules Overview:

SDS –Online is an Internet based system for the public users of SDS Application to access the information and to register for the Courses, Facilities and Activities conducted by the SDS. Salient Features of SDS-Online Module

  • Chat feature was provided by using Applet-Servlet communication (HTTP Tunneling)
  • Net cash and credit card payment integration with the system for online-Payment to the course and activities.
  • Security implementation in the e-payment for avoiding any breach in the payment transaction is implemented by using Veri Sign’s public / private key authentication.

There are 9 CDCs across Singapore and prior to the commissioning of SANet, their main job was to refer applications for assistance to relevant agencies for action. The agencies would investigate the applications and make decisions accordingly. The CDCs role was to convey the approval / rejection to the applicants and to handle subsequent payment processing (if any). The requirement was for the CDCs to play a bigger role in this process. In the new system, the CDCs will take over the entire cycle of intake, investigations, payments and reviews and provide any other support required by the clients.
