Confidential, is the settlements and clearing arm of CLSA. Setclear provides middle office and back office services to several clients including Bloomberg (Trade book), Chevruex, Samsung. FIX Executions are blocked (netting) into client specific shapes, allocated manually, or via OMGEO (Oasys Global & Oasys Direct) and sent to Phase 3 for US settlements and SYN for Global settlements. The settlement systems sent SWIFT to local depositories.
The following were my responsibilities.
- Actively monitored FIX session using SQL queries and HAWK alerts
- If anomalies are identified, remote into the server and review event viewer logs
- Restart services if needed, reprocess trades if needed, escalate to 2nd level or Dev team
