Objective

Skills and Accomplishments

Strong analog circuit knowledge, particularly with op-amps, switching amplifiers (class-D), and discrete amplifier power stages. Also familiar with basic circuit simulation using Linear Technologies spice software.

System level Testing. In conjunction with design engineering, performed critical testing to replicate failure modes, or confirm design changes. Included hand assembly of PCB and data collection of test results.
Assembled teams of experts to investigate and resolve field quality issues. If needed, corrective action process initiated, and issue followed through to completion. (no more failures prior to c/a date)
Legacy Part Re-engineering. Re-engineered service part final assemblies which could no longer be manufactured due to sub-assembly part obsolescence. This typically required generating new sub-assembly parts.

Quality Assurance Technician Confidential, March ’97 Aug ‘00

Rapid Response (including component level debugging) for newly launched, high-end home audio products, where quick and accurate results were critical. Supported products included, Bose CD Wave Radio, Life-Style Audio Systems.
Under guidance from development engineering, performed testing designed to characterize complex failure modes, and confirm robust corrective action implementation.
