Detection and Prevention of DDoS Attacks (an Integrated e-Learning tool)Jan 07 – Jun 08

    • Deployed an Intrusion Detection and Prevention System to detect DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks by monitoring real-time network traffic. It was able to block the malicious users from attacking the server by over-flooding the network and protect the system from exploits, as it used to scan IP headers and packet contents for malicious keywords. Also maintained log of authenticated/unauthenticated IPs.
