Riverside is an integrated health system with headquarters in Newport News, VA, and operations throughout Eastern Virginia. Its scope of services span across hospitals, a large employed provider group, post-acute care, and significant capacity and capabilities in senior housing and long-term supports and services LTSS . Approximately 8,000 team members work for Riverside. Annual consolidated revenue is roughly 1 billion. Riverside is Virginia's largest Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly PACE , a program I was hired to build. PACE is a unique and innovative community-based health care program for frail, nursing home-eligible older adults. It is both a payer for and provider of comprehensive health care services.
