• As sub- project to WorldShip I was responsible for the following 2 process improvements:
• Label certification phase I: Label certification refers to a process that is used to verify all the labels printed through WorldShip. With a team of 4 members I was able to help WorldShip reduce the time/effort required for label certification from 7 days to 1 day by using sophisticated technologies and methodologies to organize and structure the process and by reducing the manual effort of creating shipments and making use of batch import functionality in WS.
• Test Case Restructuring: This is a streamlined repeatable process to right size the number of test cases in test repository by eliminating out dated test cases and facilitating Core set of test cases for regression suite. As a pilot my responsibility was to help WorldShip reduce 15000 test cases to 4000 cases by suggesting and evaluating the objective criteria using SQL queries in Quality center and providing guidance how to flag the test cases in different category and have categorized test cases within a cohesive structure.
