Confidential Capacity Calculator is a simple tool that can be used to plan the configuration of all the VNX and VNXe models. The tool's rich and easy-to-use interface allows the users to configure RAID Groups and/or Storage Pools easily by choosing the options such as single or dual processor, drive type, and drive size to achieve a particular usable capacity. Capacity Calculator also provides additional information like estimated power requirements, Rule of Thumb IOPs for pools, and recommended hot spares. The tool lets the users to save/export the configuration into a PDF file, which can be used for printing or to load/import the configuration back into the tool for modifications. This calculator can also be used for competitive differentiation.

The objective of this project is to understand the new generation of EMC storage i.e., VNXe. The testing is mainly focused on integrating the VNXe storage in Hyper-V environment. The deliverable is to produce a detailed document demonstrating how to deploy Hyper-V environment on VNX storage system and how to protection it.
