Infrastructure
I am responsible for the infrastructure to support the banks main application. The server farm supported many technologies including BEA Weblogic, Java, MQSeries, Oracle, and Sybase. The server farm consisted of 172 Sun Solaris 5000/4000 servers running Solaris and Linux.
Performance Monitoring Reporting
I Designed a Big-Data solution, for performance metrics and financial data. The solution consisted of system level programming in Korn Shell, C, Java, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Oracle and Sybase. The system could detect production issues and predict future requirements based on trend analysis. Reports were written in Tableau. We use Informatica for some direct data pulls ETL . We basically built our own data management solution creating tools similar to Hadoop.
Web Based System Tools
I developed a set of tools to monitor our test and production systems. These were written in Java using a number of standard Java algorithms and 3rd party tools. JQuery, Bootstrap, and FreeMarker were used to help facilitate the MVC paradigm.

Army Center for Substance Abuse Programs
The Army Center for Substance Abuse Programs ACSAP supports combat readiness by providing program oversight, supervision, inspection, integration, technical assistance, and training development for the operation and management of all elements of the Army's Army Substance Abuse Program ASAP . My expertise was brought onto the project to facilitate the hiring, of qualified candidates, for open positions and reengineer the solution implementation. Reengineered server farm and database farm into a complete redundant real time failover solution. Managed solutions in both the .NET and JAVA frameworks. Designed SOA architecture to collect data over 35 government agencies. Wrote SOA application in both .NET and J2EE. Migrated old ASP and .NET applications to the new J2EE server farm and Service Bus consisting or the Oracle 11g database and middleware solution set.

Managing a project team for the Joint Chief of Staff's planning Community Logistics .
