Java Developer

• Calendar Application - In a team of 8, developed a calendar application for Entergy Co. The people at Entergy wanted this application to be designed in Java, JSP, Struts, Spring and MVC framework also using Servlets and they wanted the calendar to display all the upcoming events they have for students to participate in.
• Robotics Reengineering - Caterpillar Company as well as the Robotics instructor at JSU needed the web application that is used to program the commands for the robots in the Robotics Lab updated. Both parties wanted the web application to remain an object oriented application by using C, C++, Java, JSP, Struts, Spring, JDBC, and keep the existing struts.
• Social Network Research - The City of Jackson wanted to see a more extensive web application that displays more information about trending topics on social networks. The 7 of us decided that Twitter would be our social network to execute this task with. By choosing Twitter we had to understand AJAX and Javascript, high level Java/J2EE, PHP & MySQL, as well as Enterprise Javabeans to complete this task. IT Specialist Intern
