My first project here was related to custody dataware house automation regression testing. We have various system environments like AS400, JAVA, WEB SERVICE etc. At first, the India team was handed over the QTP scripts to us.
We learned the script process from QC, optimized the script to cover all the test scenarios.
I confirmed with my UK test manager about the process, gave advice for the script update, amended part of the scripts, shared knowledge to improve our teammate's technical ability, inspired their work enthusiasm and enlarged our team's knowledge accumulation.
I also involved in LISA, an API automation testing tool base on java, which simulated BaNCS system to send MQ message to CDW system, got the results from a linux server though sftp protocol, wrote javascripts for combine MQ messages and verify the results.
For my personal will, I was transferred to Kuala Lumpur about 1.5 years, the new project is related to CADIS SIT testing, the main project team is located in UK and KL. At the beginning, I was engaged in manual testing. After our SIT release, I started to in charge of automation, I designed a flexible automation framework, the new beginner can work on UFT together without many coding knowledge, my manager only need to design his test case in excel template and the test process could be changed fast during execution.
