UPS and CRAC system alarms are redundantly monitored by Confidential Operations with Tivoli (SNMP) and the Duke Hospital BAS using Liebert SiteLink (BACnet). Worked to establish alarm response workflow procedures for both monitoring groups.

This automated workflow process has been incorporated within our existing CMDB (configuration management database) system and replaced an email/spreadsheet process. This reduced the time of actually getting IT equipment installed and online from approximately 5 - 10 working days down to 1.5 - 4 working days. Involved parties receive auto-generated emails advising of space request status changes.
