I am a senior IT software engineer with considerable experience using DB2, Oracle and Teradata. For most of my career I have been involved with very large datasets (datamart or data warehouse).I have participated in very large program development projects using the SDLC methodology, as well as writing hundreds of ad - hoc report programs using SAS.   • This program used 26 PROC SQL statements using SAS pass through facility to read tables consisting of up to 43 million rows of 2200 columns.
  • After modifications were made the execution time was reduced from 11 hours to 2 hours.
  • Modified and executed monthly production SAS programs which used credit bureau information.
  • Created a program to read, verify, validate and report input variables to the production models.
  • This data was used to create SAS Dashboards of a rolling 12 month view of variable changeability.
  • Created SAS datamarts from the Teradata DB which were used to reporting and data analysis.
