Key Customer Projects:
APEX Healthcare: MOSS 2007 to MOSS 2007migration necessary due to relocation of the company’s Data Center. Project focus was on the 13 known custom applications which required performance review, code level documentation and validation of supportability and upgrade path following the relocation. 
New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation: Upgrade from MOSS 2007 to SharePoint 2010. SharePoint 2010 Enterprise solution should achieve a unified environment to manage projects more effectively and provide a foundation for the management and dissemination of information throughout the organization. More than 30 specific requirements were outlined including the following which were identified as highest priority:

  • Planning, configuration, implementation and production go-live of a corporate wide Enterprise SharePoint 2010 v1.0 Intranet solution
  • Design/delivery of a robust, scalable, highly available, fully redundant centralized enterprise server mediumfarm including Logical and Physical architecture designs and SQL optimization.
  • Compilation of a fully defined Governance Plan to facilitate system management and ensure use in accordance with its designed intent.

Confidential: Implement a SharePoint 2010 Enterprise class solution to facilitate collaboration across the enterprise. Project deliverables included a full assessment of the MOSS 2007 environment, capacity planning, design of a new Information Architecture; documentation and installation of multiple 2010 farms (i.e.: large farm production, dev, staging, test) and ultimately migrate from MOSS 2007 to the new SharePoint 2010 environment. Project also required design and implementation of a customized Project Management Portfolio site for non IT project managers. The PM Solution would takeadvantage of the Bamboo Project Suite components. Customize codeplex SharePoint 2010 site directory solution to provide simple navigation UI to sites located across multiple web applications.
NPD: Project objective was to upgradeto SharePoint 2010 and migrate existing content from their MOSS 2007 environment. Activities included a Pre-upgrade assessment, installation of a small farm and configuration of services, multiple trial migrations, recommendations for resolution of identified migration issues and final production migration using database detach/attach approach. A new Information Architecture (IA) was introduced that included a new web application and multiple site collections.
Patriot National Insurance Group: MOSS 2007 to SharePoint 2010 Migration project that included installation and configuration of a small production farm, 2007 farm assessment and remediation documents, customized Master Page and CSS (for 2010), multiple trial migrations and final production content migration.
Procure Treatment Centers: Project was to install MOSS 2007 medium farm, configure Shared Service Provider and design and implement a corporate intranetincluding 2 custom applications:

  • Policy and Procedure site to facilitate policy document collaboration (item level permissions and custom permissions levels), automated approval process and renewal notifications.
  • Legal Document Repository to manage requests to legal department taking advantage of metadata, InfoPath (2007) forms, SharePoint Designer workflows and custom search functionality.

Confidential:Project 1 wasto provide proper education and knowledge transfer to QC IT staff in preparation for supporting a MOSS 2007 large farm Internet environment.
