XPM Customer and CSR are two .NET based applications with common functionality. The difference is that XPM Customer is a client facing application that has pages that the client sees after buying an insurance policy online, and CSR is the administration side of this application. The CSR application is used by the tele-sales persons when the customer decides to call-in instead of buying the policy online. For both applications, there are changes to be incorporated according to the laws of each state and new states are also being added to the application.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzed the Business Requirement documents. Proposed the design and best options for the solutions. Produced artifacts using UML wherever possible.
• Did the design and development, coding and implementation of the solution. Each module was developed using customized forms, actions, schemas and classes.
• The changes in the codes were incorporated using Rational Clear Case, to merge code or add to source control.
• Was responsible for transforming design mock-ups to W3C standards compliant HTML pages using XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, .Net C , XML and XSLT.

Responsibilities:

• Developed solutions on SharePoint 2007 / 2010. Was developing enhancements including customization of the look and feel of SharePoint pages Branding for customized design.

• Created a sequential workflow to control a ticketing system for desktop support. The workflow assigned the ticket to an available troubleshooter from the IT department list. For CONFIDENTAIL, there was a need for enhancing the GBS application which handles the account reconciliations of the different business of GE all over the world. The GBS app supports more than 600 users world-wide. The enhancements were done in ASP 3 using a 2005 SQL Server database.

Responsibilities:

• This application was developed on ASP 3 using a SQL Server 2005 database
• Developed enhancements for GBS, by modifying ASP classes
• Designed tables, stored procedures, functions, triggers, upgrading database to support pivot tables. Tuned queries for optimal performance
• Developed a C Web application to fix database issues like abnormal data in SQL Database 2005. The look and feel of this application was developed in ASP 3.0 and ASP.Net C using HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, XML, XSLT, Ajax.
• A C Console application was developed, which ran in the background to check functionality of GBS batch applications. This was done by monitoring processes running automatically - like uploading new accounts, sending them for approval / or reject them based on budget reconciliation. Was in charge of maintaining these applications, as well as developing enhancements according to business requirements. This C Web application was a Six Sigma project.
• Applied enhancements or new requirements to the Console applications and Windows Form application based on new business rules. Worked with delegates, generics, collections etc.

CONFIDENTAIL Assessment System

This school caters to CONFIDENTAIL and high school students. There was a need to evaluate the quality of the trainers, teachers, services, facilities etc. by applying different tests, assessments and polls. The resultant data was to be presented as graphics and statistic data. The previous system was based on using printed sheets and then capturing the data into Excel and transforming data into statistics.

Responsibilities:

• Proposed a new solution based on experience with Assessment System for technology University of Aguascalientes
• Worked in all phases of implementing the application from Analysis of requirements, designing, development, implementing, to testing.
• Created the environment to work using AppServ 2.4.8, which is a software application to install and configure Apache, MySQL, PHP, phpMyAdmin in minimal time.
• Transformed mock ups of requirements into PHP pages developing in Dreamweaver editor using Jscript, XHTML, CSS on 2 environments - local and production

Assessment System

The University offers different courses and degrees like Bachelor degrees. The application was developed to assess the facilities offered. This was done by applying different tests, assessments and polls to evaluate the quality of the teachers, services, facilities etc. The data was to be represented as graphical and statistical data. This system was developed in PHP 4 SQL Server 2000 database using Adobe Dreamweaver as editor, and dbDesigner to design the database.

Cash System

This was an existing application with the front end developed in Sybase Power builder. The requirement was to maintain the Cash System, create new reports, build data windows and enhancements to the existing modules.

Responsibilities:

• Worked in all phases of implementing Assessment application - Analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, testing
• Created the work environment - installing, configuring and synchronizing IIS 5.0, PHP 5, SQL Server 2000
• Designed and developed the Assessment application from initial proposal to implementation.
