Description: Confidential deals with robotic movement of the solar panel according to the movement of the sun rays. This technology is very useful in solar equipment. Stepper motors are used to attain the movement and controlling its movement is done through 555 timers. Thermal detectors detect the sun rays and position the panel accordingly. After the sun set the panel checks for any more sun and shuts down the system during night. The project includes three case scenarios.

• Startup of the panel.
• Tracking the sun light throughout the day.
• Shutting down of the system.

In the first case, after the sun rise, the heat detectors observe the heat and when the heat exceeds the threshold value, stars up the system and the panel starts rotating. In the second case, the panel moves according to the movement of sun with the help of the stepper motor. In case there is any kind of obstacle to the sun, the panel stops moving in that particular direction and starts searching for the maximum sun light that makes the heat detector cross its threshold value. In the third case i.e. during the sun set, the panel searches for any sun light available and shuts down the system after confirming the sun set.
