Senior Solutions Architect Software Consultant
Responsibilities:
- Performed design, development, and support on single client specific DB which was another developed ETL that extracted data from the client using Java batch code that contained SQL using JDBC, FTP, and Oracle Triggers.
- Created DDL on all of the Oracle. As application got more mature the team size decreased in 2008 so I was the only developer working on the DB as a result I did all of the data modeling using SDLC methodology and I also supported the Java batch which contained embedded SQL.
- I also did all the DDL and tuning for over DB with over 80 tables in Chicago and the matching schema in Singapore. In late 2015 new software was being introduced so I was involved in evaluating Jira as a replacement for our Lotus Notes DB we used for workflow.
- I worked on other teams as well that are listed above. Was due to work on DataStage application so learned the software and did a little development before the project was cancelled due to lack of funding. Used PVCS and TFS as source repository.
