Responsibilities:
- Assisted internal customers in Salesforce customization using Confidential, Visualforce, and AngularJS, reports, workflows, guardrails (using both Salesforce’s validation rules and custom solutions), task and approval assignments (both regular and dynamic), data loads, and permissions.
- To clone values from one object type to another, without rewriting and redeploying code with each field addition/edit, created functionality to query and entire objects list of fields, pair them with matching names/types on another object, filter out certain fields including read-only, and handle exceptions so errors would not hinder business process.
- Created functionality to cross-reference geographic areas of responsibility with specific work groups to assign specific users to tasks and approvals, saving managers hours of manual reassignment weekly. Also created from scratch a tool in Visualforce to handle bulk reassignments when responsibilities changes.
- Created tests data, scenarios, and maintained code coverage far exceeding Salesforce’s standards.
- Trained ten employees, some of which had no prior IT or development experience. Most remain at the company and are still valuable developers to this day.
