Responsibilities:
- Proposal and Renewal System ( Confidential ) - The system was Responsible for generating health insurance quotes for new and existing small groups. It had an online and a batch component.
- I worked with the batch component using COBOL, IMS DB2/SQL, and JCL. Also did some work in online component using PowerBuilder.
- Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) - member of the ETL group. My duty was to use extract file to created VSAM files used by the Teradata DBAs to load the Teradata database.
- Financial Suspense System (FSS) - The system was responsible for reconciling any differences between the adjudicated claims and the paid claims. I wrote a few new programs using OBOL IMS DB2/SQL, and JCL to generated reports. Blue Gateway System - used for adjudicating claims submitted by the providers.
