  • At, Confidential , Confidential had a primary role in creating a networked Confidential for certifying compliance with Confidential and Confidential clean air standards that was crucial for DaimlerChrysler to meet production schedules. He designed and implemented an RDBMS in Sybase with their PowerDesigner tool and programmed the client/server client in PowerBuilder and utilized HP-UX with Embedded SQL/C to implement the server components.
  • Confidential redesigned software algorithms at Confidential that achieved 300% increase in production volume and quality in the manufacture of their Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillators (TCXO's) used in mobile radios and cellular telephones.
  • At Confidential, Columbus, OH, Confidential redesigned the company's Electronic Receiving System to scan Confidential regulated devices returned for repair and dispatch them to the proper repair process queue and initiate the update of SAP inventory status. The resign became necessary as Confidential Labs moved to the CamStar MES for their manufacturing support application. In the redesign, Confidential was able to gain consensus to fundamentally change the way the application made process decisions and implemented a database driven decision support system which decoupled the decision making process from the application software. This allowed for all future modifications to the flow of devices through the Receiving department to be made without having to modify, verify and rollout a new version of the application.
  • For the Confidential , Confidential re-architected and programmed a Batch Print system written in Word.Basic with Confidential into a scalable, multi-process PowerBuilder application with Confidential Automation to print more than 30,000 various collection letters per day to debtors and their cohorts. This achievement allowed the department to migrate from the unsupported Windows XP legacy platform to Windows 7 while also achieving a gross reduction in errors and a 2-3 fold increase in performance and productivity.
  • He also provided the proofs of concept that the Web Services could be consumed by WPF and Windows Form applications.
  • Confidential redesigned and rewrote a faxing application at the Confidential, San Francisco, CA, which remediated several show stopping bugs which were discovered after a PowerBuilder version upgrade. The redesign also delivered a massive performance increase which allowed the fax application to complete in less than 30 minutes as opposed to 7-8 hours.
  • Confidential, Columbia City, IN, the company lost a critical hard drive which contained all of the build files for their production Steel Mill Control System software package. This placed the company in the dubious position of having an executable system which they could no longer make changes to. The company contracted Confidential as a Lead PowerBuilder developer but, after learning of his proficiency in “C” programming, the company Vice President asked him to take on the task of creating a build system. This was an enormous task which required the creation of a build system for 3,485 source files, with no documentation. To complicate matters further, the company had hired an outside firm for this project but after one year of unsuccessful effort the project was cancelled. This left many of the source files in a state of uselessness. Confidential assessed the situation and familiarized himself with the system and created a Visual Studio Solution. The total system required 69 projects and 127 batch files which was able to compile 100% without errors when Confidential was finished.
  • The test bench manufacturer, Horiba Instruments, asserted that the project was not possible and recommended that Confidential be contracted to perform an analysis and give a second opinion. Confidential assessed the complete system and application and designed a method to reduce its memory footprint along with rewriting the communications section of the application to use sockets instead of serial communications. Confidential then contracted Confidential to generate the new operating system with all of the desired/necessary components, make the necessary application modifications and completely validate the new system, which he did 100% successfully.
  • He played a key role in creating the Confidential Partners Information Network, an online access system for vendors to query their product inventories and sales in real-time, providing critical market feedback.
  • Confidential is a professional IT consultant with strong design and development skills, high-pressure work environment experience and a list of successful projects. He is a visionary and an innovative, abstract thinker with the ability to conceptualize complex problems and synthesize them into small, simple tasks and deliver results.
