Responsibilities:

• Full time production DBA for Confidential which is primarily a life insurance provider for servicemen.
• Responsible for DEV/TEST/PROD SQLServer installations with versions going from SQL2005 to SQL 2014. Managed service packs/patches, backups, maintenance and troubleshooting. Developed extensive scripts for data changes not supported by the front-end.
• Provided guidance for optimization at all levels of the RDBMS, including hardware, instance optimization, and database optimization.
