2007 – 2011: Programmer Analyst, Confidential., Fairfield, CA. Debug, analyze, and modify existing in-house software. Design and implement new solutions for changing business requirements.
Projects:
- Provide stored procedures for new browser based interface to the AS/400. Meeting the requirements of users for a non-green screen interface.
- Implement continual batch process allowing interface to an outside vendor for receipt of new assignments and processing of existing lots. The AutoIMS solution provide additional customer satisfaction and exposure to new markets.
- Interface with vendor for outside check and invoice processing saving employee time and the expense of stuffing and mailing envelopes.
2005 – 2007: Confidential Spent the fall of 2005 and spring of 2006 traveling extensively including two months in India and three months in Asia. Spent the summers windsurfing and camping in California.

Projects:
- Designed and programmed “VAR” system for Countrywide Securities. This system determines market position and analyzes margin for all clients. Built and designed interactive interfaces using RPG ILE, CL and subfiles. Used embedded SQL extensively in batch procedures.
- Automated accounting functions for federal reporting. Resulting in the savings of one full-time employee and ensuring accurate and timely federal reporting. This batch system ran nightly and used RPG ILE and CL. Embedded SQL was used to query and sort data.

Programmer/Analyst for an information technology consulting company.
Projects:
- Technical consultant to a functional team for an auto parts distributor. I provided program specifications, design and programming in RPG IV and CL based on functional requirements. I provided both interactive and batch programming, unit testing and post-implementation support.
- Brought in as part of a “resolution” team to provide expedient and efficient resolution of a package manufacturer’s remaining Y2K issues. Extensive debugging was required to analyze and correct problems. Successful completion of this project ensured that the client’s trust was regained.
- Retrofitted modifications for a truck accessory manufacturer with a team of 4 other consultants. After completion of the project including unit and system testing I remained with the client to provide analysis, design, programming and testing of additional modifications.
