• Building order/ result(ORM/ORU) and patient registration and doctor information (ADT/MFN) interfaces between MEDSERIES4 and IMED.
• Here MEDSERIES4 application sends patient information to Ingenious MED, but IMED wants to know the recurring patient for billing purposes.
• Each time Recurring patients get discharge and readmit, patient is seen as a new patient by Ingenious MED and everything must be done from scratch.
• It ends up having multiples of the same patient because it was not designed in the interfaces.
• MEDSERIES4 sets up a flag for recurring patient and send it in PV1.41.AccountStatus, on the basis of that logic have been modified at engine to cater this issue by truncated the last 4 digits of the patient account.
