• I was responsible for the coordination and oversight of all operational and technology functions between main campus and two branch campuses. Ensured that we are always looking at new technology and how it may benefit the students and the college. Duties included semester reports to Arkansas Department of Higher Education, Datatel updates, SQL cluster servers, Datatel Servers, programming, budgeting, Crystal Reports, Xcelsisus, programming intranet, and all aspects of the Department Head for the IT department.
• While CIO, I still was the Sole Programmer for the college and therefore continued to support and create more Web Applications for the College using ASP.NET VB/C .

Network Administrator / Intranet Programmer

Increasing responsibilities promoted twice within one year. Responsible for computer technicians, programming, and the entire WAN/LAN. The college was on a Novell system and various third-party applications. I moved the college to a full Microsoft platform including Domain Controllers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, ISA, IIS, SQL, VPN, NAS server, etc.. Duties included installation and management of all servers within the domain, group policies, Exchange email accounts, and internet access. Earned my Microsoft Certified System Engineer. I continued to be the sole programmer for the college. I developed more Web Applications using ASP and then later to ASP.NET VB, C , AJAX.

Intranet Programmer

The intranet allowed the college to move from the paper forms to electronic forms. This allows for better tracking and minimizes lost forms and cost. The intranet handled a very wide range of forms and calculations. An example it calculates all leave balances monthly based on employee's start date to comply with state policy, allows leave forms to be submitted and routed to supervisors using a chain of command process, and includes a reporting function. Others include a help desk system for pc technicians, student referral processing, and committee meeting minutes to be posted for viewing, enrollment counts, and roster printouts. It also includes an HR module for new hires and TR-1 forms travel reimbursements .
