Projects Description:
- GATE/GISS to Advanced Queue Architecture project
- Advanced Queue is a common Framework, built to replace existing GISS Architecture and improve performance of the Integration message flow. This project is implemented for Terminals and Customs Integration which are involved in the operation of Ocean transport services of Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics.
- This eliminates the permanent storage of data in the integration, switching over from entity level data processing to subject area level data processing that reduces complexity of the message flow. The introduction of subscription concept results in processing a single file into multiple destinations and usage of queues reduces the time taken in querying across database. Oracle Advanced Queue is the heart of this GATE Architecture as it is built on Oracle AQ to eliminate Cross database transactions.
- Global Customs Compliance System and integration
- This project is aims to develop and automate EDI message flow from WWL CCS system to customs system of various countries includes United states, Canada, Austria, Japan, Poland, England, Brazil, Colombia, New Zealand and Saudi Arabia. By reporting cargo details WWL compliance with regulation of various customs. The EDI message is in standard format included XML, EDI X12, Edifact, Flat file..
- A2A Integration
- The purpose of the integration was to send Cargo details from Pro Act system File System to SAGA Application Database . This integration was offering guaranteed sequencing and delivery of messages, reliable integration, and lesser integration point's thereby reducing development and maintenance cost in the long run, rapid development and deployment, as lesser coding effort is needed for implementing the integration and more importance is on functional aspects of integration
- Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the Customs and terminal teams from Offshore and responsible for implementing Advanced Queue Architecture for Customs and terminal teams. Actively involved in POC phase to design the framework for the project.
