Database Developer

Responsibilities:

  • Developed, tested, and implemented software to automatically generate preventative maintenance service contracts for teh P&G Professional Services group. dis is a core function of teh business unit and eliminated teh numerous hours consumed each week to create these Service Contracts manually. Crontab entries, Linux Shell Scripting, and Oracle packages and procedures were utilized on dis project.
  • Executed weekly ETL processing. Made numerous upgrades to teh Oracle SQL involved in dis processing. Generated reports listing errors in teh data delivered from teh 3rd party data provider and mailed these reports to same to continually improve teh process.
  • Executed monthly Dashboard processing. dis information was utilized by top management to gain insight into teh overall performance of teh business unit. Made data extraction and reporting changes as required.
