  • Our client needs a Level - 3 Sybase Database Administrators with very sound experience Sybase 15.7 and involved in migration initiatives/ projects and in BAU in the capacity of a Level-3 resource.
  • Must have experience in BFSI organizations (Banking/Finance/Securities/Insurance)
  • Must have performed the role of Level 3 Sybase DBA role, for the last 5 yearswith an overall experience of at least 8 years
  • Should have at least 3 years of migration experience involving Sybase 15.7 technologies
  • Should have at least 3 years of experience in preparing the performance matrix for a complex Sybase estate in a Banking organisation
  • Should have at least 3 - 5 years of experience of having worked with the new feature of Sybase 15.5/15.7 (online reorg, Data compression, Shrinking log, Etc.)
  • Should have at least 3 years ofHigh Availability Features (Failover Clustering, Database Mirroring, Replication warmstandby and table level)
  • Should have at least 3-5 years of Expertise in UNIX (job, unix scripting and cronjobs)

Responsibilities:

  • Being an a SME and Level-3 Sybase DBA for the migration initiatives/projects
  • Adhering to SLAs Mentoring / Training /Grooming Team Members
  • Handling tickets / requests Perform root cause analysis
  • Troubleshooting technical issues
  • Defining processes and ensuring that the processes are adhered to Oversees and is responsible for successful completion of Installation, configuration and migration
