- Deliver end-to-end analytical solutions including:
- Reverse-engineer transaction systems into physical models
- Draw logical models out of these physical models
- Develop star-schema based EDW (enterprise data warehouse) ERD (entity relationship diagram) from the said logical models
- Snowflake the said EDW ERDs
- Superimpose partition schemes on the EDW ERD, delivering subject-specific data mart ERDs
- Forward engineer EDW and data mart ERDs into physical databases
- Design and implement many OLAP physical and soft cubes, with the former utilizing a third layer of extraction into a dense, fast proprietary data set
- Architect responsible for delivering an SOA (Service oriented architecture)-grade data consumption model that offers on-demand consistent schema views.
- Act as a lead business analyst, collecting (often vague) requirements from business partners, transforming them into structured system flows, and then transform all into a detailed project plan with resources, timelines, and phased deliveries
- Develop large, multi-phase, multi-mapping ETL graphs that automate data transformation from production transaction sources into T+1 analytical data warehousing schemas. Tools used are Informatica, Ab Initio, and DataStage
- Responsible for enterprise MDM (Master Data Management) repository, which contains several schemas covering reference data, operational metadata, functional metadata, financial instrument reference, and index reference.
- Publish several types of data dictionary grade reference data and metadata including:
