- Lead new product development efforts. Projects included:
- Enhancements to the SAP to Maximo invoice interface. This project involved writing custom PL/SQL code to parse XML files which contained processing errors. Prior to this enhancement, the errors were processed manually, once a month.
- Created an automated database “health check”. This project involved writing custom PL/SQL code to send an HTML formatted email message to the team with any data related errors that needed our attention.
- Optimized slow performing SQL

- Provided users with requested data (reporting)
- Mentored other developers

- Worked on a team of 7 developers which provided ongoing support for the custom built, Trade Planner software
- Lead new product development efforts. Projects included:
- RAFT (Retail Allocation of Financial Trade). I developed the back-end (created all tables, indexes, custom PL/SQL code) for an application that allocated trade dollars down to the customer and base product level. The scope was doubled in the middle of the project, but instead of hiring a contractor for $75K, I took on the extra work. The project went live on time, without a single defect, and balanced to the penny to the department level summary.
- Plan pre-load. I created a customized PL/SQL package from scratch that pre-loaded the next fiscal year with the previous fiscal year plans by matching a set of base plans on very precise business rules.
Special Accomplishments: Nominated for a GBS Global Distinction award for my work on the RAFT project
