Content Server, at its core, is a collection of Java APIs used to manipulate online content in the form of assets. This API is accessed via a collection of XML and JSP tags written by FatWire. The tags are interpreted and executed by the Content Server code. Fatwire defines the way these tags work in a document called the Tag Reference . Content Server supports thousands of tags. To test them all manually would be impossible. This is where the test harness comes in. The Test Harness is a program written to automate tag testing. Its ultimate goal is to automatically test every combination of every tag supported by the product.
