• Developed and wrote a customer reporting system on a VAX platform using Oracle database.
• It was done by joining two separate Rbd Ohio Michigan databases and combining them into two RMS files to run reports. It was a reporting system for the customer that broke down the billing in a way that the company could monitor the monies spent on the cellular service better. There were breakdowns by account number at a plant level and by cost centers. Specifications and time frame guidelines were set when the job started. The report was developed on a VAX platform using RDB, VMS, SQL, and COBOL.

Systems Analyst and CHAMPS Administrator

Responsible for the CHAMPS package, a maintenance, storage, purchasing and accounts payable system. Maintained full responsibility for all phases of the system, including files, programs, reports, user interface and problem resolution. Performed system administrator functions that involved CHAMPS, such as adding users to the VAX, FDL's, space, performance, etc. Personally responsible for the downloading of selected data from the IBM Columbus system to the VAX system, edited the data and converted it to dictionary format. Responsible for designing the dictionary layouts for new files and maintaining the dictionary for old files. Designed and wrote several new applications in the batch and on-line systems as well as several modifications to existing systems. Some passed information to other mainframes, DOS, MVS, and AS400. Responsible for installation of the newest version of CHAMPS with each new release. Responsible for interfacing CHAMPS with our highly customized package. Installed CHAMPS in two other plants.

Envionment: All duties were performed on a VAX cluster using RMS file, SOLO and COBOL languages. Interface using DOS and MVS.

• Prior to CHAMPS introduction, responsible for CAPPS Corporate Accounts Payable Purchasing System . Included programs OS-JCL and bi-weekly runs. Wrote the traffic computerized system. Put manual system Online. The newly developed system was installed in four plants. Expanded the manual system to allow up to nine stops with up to 80 customers per stop i.e., a warehouse stop .
• Developed on demand print load and tallies and on demand print bills of lading and print B/L. Allowed input of inbound freight and print E/L. Allowed input of MSD's and print E/L. Designed and wrote the electronic transfer of freight information.
