CCBR is a mainframe (z/OS) application using BTEQ and TPT to load and unload data to/from Teradata.
  • Implemented the Quarterly Attribute Analysis application to identify unused columns in CCBR Teradata tables so the unused columns could be decommissioned. This included:
  • Creating MULTISET Attribute Analysis table to store data
  • Creating 2 JCL job streams
  • Unload/collect data with BTEQ script running complex queries with inner/outer joins and accessing system DBC tables identifying unused columns
  • Load data into Attribute Analysis table with TPT
