Developing an Online Share Trading system using Web Services - This web application allows the user to buy stocks of his preference. Implemented a Main page, Login, Registration page, Buy Shares page, Check out page with credit card validation and Logout page in ASP.Net. Developed several web services and user controls and deployed the application onto ASU server.
Developing a Tip Calculator I phone/I pad application - Developed in Java. The main features of this restaurant based app are group as well as individual tip calculation, tip tailoring based on level of service, physical location, quality of food.
Power of Classification Algorithms in Mining Movie Lens Data - Algorithms like Bayesian Networks, Random Forest, IBk, J48, Logistic regression are run on the dataset and the best algorithm is identified using data mining tools and measures.
Designing simple e-commerce system for managing retailers - This project is programmed in C#. It mainly embeds the features of multithreading, synchronization, and thread communication. Event driven programming is also incorporated for giving alerts to the retailers on price cuts, new stock availability etc.
Single Window Banking system and its GUI implementation - This project focuses on developing a single window, all transaction banking system which performs any kind of transactions like deposits, withdrawals, interest calculations based on balance etc. This system is built using Java and MYSQL. Graphic user interface is designed in Java.
Mining and Creating a database of various types of Beta Propellers - Project involves mining beta propellers present in databases using Perl. Significant correlations in them were programmed in C and C++. Oracle is used in the database design.
Impact of Security Breaches on Corporate Offices - This project is an insight into the various security breaches, techniques to avoid them, identifying vulnerabilities in the system. We also proposed recovery strategies, after a breach.
