Pershing is the largest clearing House in US with more than 1100 IBDs and iNautix , a 100% subsidiary of Pershing LLC, provides the solutions for Pershing’s Institutional and Retails clients.

Workflow is the automation of online trading procedures where documents (fax, email, and images), information (NetExPro work requests) or tasks are passed between participants/departments according to a defined set of rules to achieve, or contribute to and overall business goal (final action on a trade request). The enterprise workflow engine interfaces with PII (Pershing Infrastructure Interface) & ASDS (Application Security Database System).

Each order request (termed as a work item) is received into the system as MQ messages, which are deciphered based on the data layout for the particular process and appropriate software modules invoked to process the request and resulting completion message sent to FE through MQ messages in appropriate format. At backend, the DB2 tables are updated to denote the current and log details regarding status of each trade order.

Responsibilities
Involved in business process definitions that define the business process, like entry conditions, process attributes, approvers, authentications, transition rules for each type of trade order and defining new workflow rules for the transition defined as a part of the process definition in PII (Pershing Infrastructure). Constructing the table data, testing and transformation from one system to the other.
