PROJECTS:
I- Studying business requirements, analyzing, developing and testing programs on AS/400 using RPG(LE), SQLRPG(LE), CL(LE) languages (applying SDLC cycle). Preparing documentation, user manuals and implementing the following systems:

  • Credit Facilities Reports System:
  • Collect data from all operational systems in the bank which is Equation (Overdraft & Deposits), Eximbills (Letter for Credit, Letter for Guarantees, Bills for Collections) and Loans System.
  • Inquiry on screens & reports.
  • Data entry screens for non-available data.
  • Loans System: Analyze, Develop, Test, Train, Implement for Entry/Maintenance screens, Inquiry screens & reports.

Loans system deal with different types of commissions (issue, renew, amend, reschedule…) & interests (monthly & delay where both calculated on daily basis, monthly depend on daily balance while delay interest calculated upon highest balance during the month)
Its cover all types of loans corporate loans (term / revolving) & retail loans (auto, personal, housing).
Maintenance screens contains many screens for entry, update & delete loans and related installments (disbursement) schedule, withdrawals, collaterals in addition to inquiry about any of the previous items.
Inquiry screens and reports related to loans matured (will be matured during), installments delayed, loans granted for specific customer, overdrawn loans…
Security system: define the authority for the users to work on the system.

  • Electronic Clearing Cheques System (ECCS): develop integration programs between Core Banking System (Equation) on AS/400 and Oracle ECCS to send messages and get reply for the messages from and to the core banking system using TCP/IP which apply transactions online (Credit/Debit) on customer accounts directly.
  • Trade Finance Amortization System: calculating the accrued commissions for each month from each LC & LG and posting transactions on core system to move these figures from assets into income accounts.
  • Oracle GL: work with team to map core system tables into Oracle GL system to produce segmented Balance Sheet for the bank.

II- Build MIS Oracle database using OWB tool to contain all data for the bank from all areas into one database, build complex reports, manage users have access to inquiry about data, administration database, train users and provide support for the users to use reporting tool as BRIO to build their ad-hoc reports.
III- Test, setup, train users and implement Profitability system which is module from Equation System on AS/400 that calculate the profit of the customer, branch, segment (business line), bank and the banks’ products.
IV- Working on BRIO with the following roles and responsibilities:

  • Created OCEs for the various data Sources (AS/400, Oracle, Access,…).
  • Responsible for analyzing business requirements and developing queries and reports.
  • Worked closely with Business Analyst, discussed and gathered the functional requirements from different user groups.
  • Designed and developed various types of Reports (Pivot, Tabular, Chart Reports).
  • Extensively worked on developing complex reports according to the user requirements, standardizing the report format according to the user for different division in the business.
