Software Developer and Technical Writer


I have owned and operated Tonoloway ComputerWorks and subsequently Tonoloway ComputerWorks LLC on a part-time basis for more than 10 years. Since 2000 I have created technical documentation for three different clients. I have also developed websites for a small number of clients and created software for one of these clients. This software interfaces with a precision measuring device that this client manufactures in order to fully control the device and automate data collection. I have also completed an extensive user manual for this software.

At AMP, a former Fortune 500 company, I designed, coded and tested software COBOL on an in-house project to improve the company's efficiency through better use of computers and computer-related technology.

Relevant Skills/Knowledge:

  • Software Development Embarcadero's Delphi and QuickReport. Familiarity with website design including HTML and CSS.
  • Have used a single-source authoring product called AuthorIT to do technical documentation.
  • Familiar with basic network setup and terminology.
